Hard to go

With officially 24 hours left in the USA for at least 6 months, I must admit that in the time we live in, leaving the US is a hard choice. G_d's calling is greater, for me to coach football in Israel, and I'm not second-guessing that.  However, the time I'm living in right makes it hard to leave here, to feel detached from things that I am passionate about: Fighting big government intervention, being part of a conservative backlash against the left fringes of our society who want to dictate to us as people what to do, to be part of the American backbone that stands against the emasculation of our military, our men and our willingness to stand and fight for the values we stand for, that the Bible gave us when our founders created this place.  Israel is affected by this fight more than any other country the US deals with, because it's those values that make us the only society that stands with them against a violent, murderous Palestinean populace who hate everyone, yes, including you, and that stand wains with our current administration so hell-bent on 'change'.
I wonder how much will change when I'm gone--could be gone for 6 months to a few years.  If I am gone the maxium amount, will we have taken back our congress and solidified our country for the long-haul like our grandparents after World War II, or will I come back to a place where I am officially 'dangerous' because I am educated, loud, outspoken, and when I return(G_d willing) a public figure as a NCAA Div I football coach? I wish I knew the answers now, but I will have to take a detached position to these events...rely on the media(yeesh!) to tell me what has happened, talk to friends, etc.
I'm very much looking foward to my new journey, but I am concerned about our nation's journey, and I hate that I'll be off the cultural battlefield for awhile...at least minus this blog.  Those who are with me, keep up the good fight, and when I come back, I hope to come home to the America I love: free, democratic, without government interference, standing for right ideas(and yes, we do stand for right ideas in this country) etc, and I trust I will.

Outrage---let it burn!

I'm amazed at the response by the Dems when people come in and show that they are outraged at the policies of this administration concerning health care---they act as if they know nothing about the protesting and interruptions that they championed during 8 years of President Bush! When someone who isn't a bong-smoking, pink-shirt wearing bleeding heart protests, then they're  ''Nazis carrying signs'', ''Organized astro-turf'' etc....Really? When they did it, it was freedom of speech and the American people standing up to tyranny....oh how the pot forgets it's black too!
I am getting ready to leave for Israel in 5 days, and I can tell you this...if you think that outrage is up here in the US, our liberal senators better not enter Israel's borders! The respect from the world we were supposed to automatically gain from Obama being elected is not there! The rest of the world is trying to get away from these kinds of policies, and then our politicans wonder why people are upset? They are just looking around that the 'world community' and what they have already tried and failed!
Understand, I'm all for civil discussion--the problem is our arrogant liberal congressman have already told the American people to 'Shut up' and 'get out of the way'(quoting the President), and they don't have the right to do that, they work for us, no matter how much they want to forget it!
I will be much more active with this blog since I will give my perspective from abroad, from Israel, our lone ally in the Middle East if we don't turn our backs on them before I leave.  If you haven't read this in the past, please check the history...the topics will be the same, along with my perspectives of being the first pro football coach in Israel for the Judean Rebels.  http://judeanrebels.co.il  if you want to follow.
I hope the American people let the rage burn a bit brighter, so that it consumes these terrible ideas and shows the world there's light left here that no big government can snuff out!
